Agenda:
Independent Reflection time for Scene 3 QuickWrite (returned at the beginning of class). The objective is to become more aware of your skill level in establishing an argument regarding authorial purpose (the purpose of scene 3) and you skill level in using specific details to develop your argument. Fill in reflection sheet.
City-State time to share your evidence for the debate regarding whether or not Antigone is a "good" person. Discuss HOW the group's evidence develops the debate topic.
Fishbowl debate - 20 minutes.
Introduce Unit Writing Assignment; fill in purpose sheet together.
Homework: Organize for and compose your essay. It must be TYPED for our next class. Bring enough copies of the essay for each member of your City-State to have one. If you drop off one good copy to me the day BEFORE class, I will make photocopies for you.
This typed essay must be your BEST work, NOT a draft!!!
