 Agenda:

1.  Check all homework while students read "Web Users Get as Much as They Give"

2.  Read and discuss upcoming Security vs. Privacy writing assignment.

3.  Return summary, paraphrase and Citation structure quiz from last class.  Discuss results, clarifying student skill level in each area.

4.  Fill in citation, summary, and purpose for "Watching You" homework article.  Use the Core Ideas handout as an organizer.

5.  Begin to annotate "Web Users..." article together.  Focus on why it is important to read the biography of the author.  We need to establish his/her ethos (credibility) to have an opinion that is valuable on the security vs. privacy issue.

Homework:
1.  Read and annotate both articles.  Summarize each one.  bullet format is acceptable.
Read the articles until you understand them!  We will not be "going over" them.  You must read in order to learn.  Come to class with specific questions if needed.

2.  Formulate your thesis for the Security vs. Privacy assignment.
