A marketing plan helps a business ready and prepare themselves for their upcoming products. The marketing plan is an outline of an organization's overall marketing efforts. Companies need to identify their weaknesses and strengths of the company. They need to know their budgets and competition. Some elements of a plan are the executives summaries, situation analysis and evaluation and control. Objectives include being simple, specific, reasonable and measurable. S.W.O.T- strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The executive summary is the overview of the entire marketing plan. It provides an explanation of all the costs involved in implementing the plan. An estimation of the size and key demographics of the consumers will help with the sales and the marketing plan. Examples of demographics are; age, gender and social class. Companies should establish prices on products, discounts and bundles.
