The tow lists that I compared were the 2003 and 2013. There are many differences between the two. Some things from the 2003 list that are different from 2013 is They grew up with only Microsoft computers and IBM pc were now there is a lot more.  Also strikes in professional sports were very common on the 2003 list. Also you could always get your news from cnn and USA today.  On the 2013 list some differences are tattoos are very chic and visible. Also you can watch wars and cops in real time on tv.  Also you most of the time know what's on the nightly news before it comes on.  In the future I predict that selfie will be on the list.  Compared to my life I see a lot of similarities to the 2013 list because im almost that age.
