Welcome!  This is my very first attempt at creating a blog!  I hope you join us as we learn together this year.  Today we read the 2nd chapter of Poppy by Avi.  This is a great book with wonderful language and a very interesting plot.  We also focused on the 3 sounds that the -ed ending makes /t/, /d/, and /ed/.  We reviewed our Daily 5 today to help our reading and writing muscles.  Tomorrow we will have a math test on Chapter 2.
