Elementary Reading

Tell Me, Tree by Gail GIbbons
Just in time for summer exploring! This nonfiction picture book by acclaimed author Gail Gibbons is all about trees. Learn lots of fun facts about different kinds of trees, with plenty of beautiful illustrations. 

Middle Grade Reading

Savvy by Ingrid Law
Newbery Honor winner. This is a story about a girl named Mibs who is about to celebrate her 13th birthday. Mibs comes from a family of seemingly ordinary people with extraordinary powers. On her 13th birthday, she will discover her own magical power (or savvy). Mibs must learn to control her frightening new savvy before someone gets hurt! 

High School Reading

Looking for Alaska by John Green
Printz Award winner. This is a story about a group of teenagers away together at boarding school. Alaska is the beautiful, mysterious girl that's always just out of reach. Pudge is the new kid who joins Alaska's funny, crazy group of friends. Pudge falls in love with Alaska, but it seems that she will only break his heart. When tragedy strikes, life changes for everyone.

Adult Reading
