1. I can put up walls, ruffing, and flooring.

2. I am pest on ruffing.

3. The raffters are my weakest point.

the framing information i can bring to the shad now is the wells and making the wells

my stongest skill is the siding and the electric and making the walls

 my weakest is the roofing

i need to improve in the roofing

the use of 16 oc framing technique, useing 16d nails to nail the studs.




What is your stongest skill area you can bring to the shed project?

framing and roofing, siding, shengels, flooring.

rafters and checking for square.

Description: Framing

What framing information from last year were you able to bring to the shed project now?
For the floor you had to learn how to frame the headers, put joists in between 16 O.C. In this case its the basic framing for the floor.
Now when you build the walls you mark for studs 16 O.C.  and mark for partitions, rough opennings (including jacks, kings, and header), corners, and cripple studs (COPS) on your bottom and top plate. Then marking double top for Rafters

framing, being tall, all kinds of math, and most of all problem solving

What is your weakest skill area in the shed project?
nailing rafters

1. remembering how to lay out at wall and put the studs 16 on center.
 2. laying out a rafter. using a rafter square if easy if you have a 4/12 you set the bugs at 4 and 12 and to make the seat cut you measure up an inch and a half on the plumb cut and make your mark the seat cut should be as long as the width of the top plate.
3.cutting the seat cut because i could not stay on the line and the birds mouthg was off.
4. i learned how to cut a seat cut by lifting the blade guard up and watching the line.

A:The correct spacing in between studs and joists, and the correct size lumber for each framing member.

A:Correctly spacing and checking nails on the sheathing.  
Q:What is your weakest skill area in the shed project?
A:Measuring, cutting, and putting up rafters.

A:How to more easily install rafters.

What framing information from last year were you able to bring to the shed project now?

i was able to bring the knowledge i have learned last year from building the floor system to this shed. also cuttting and installing siding and shingles.

What is your stongest skill area you can bring to the shed project?

my strongest skill area i can bring to the shed is framing the walls floor. such as building and findin out the dimensions of the wall. also building and configuring on how big the floor needs to be.

What is your weakest skill area in the shed project?

my weakest skill are is framing the roof. such as cutting rafters.
