Description:

The form of the building was thought of in 1916 and built in 1926. It is an Egyptian styled building. Egyptian culture was popular then. The building is 840 feet high and the Empire state building was also built in 1926 and it was 202 feet higher. William Van Allen built the Chrysler building and he was not known for any other buildings. The top of the building is made of steel and triangle windows. There is about 60 floors in the building. It is in Manhattan and is a skyscraper. I chose this picture because I like to learn about buildings.
