In the novel The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by: Tom Angleberger, Tommy's life in middle school is rough because of his friend Dwight. Dwight does weird stuff and embarrasses Tommy and his other friend Harvey, and Dwight insists students to call him ''Captain Dwight'' and Tommy even sits with him at lunch. Dwight made this origami Yoda who gives advice to Tommy and Harvey, like Tommy was about to ask this girl named Hannah and was said not to ask her out and it actually worked. Tommy plays softball and once he gets 3 strikes he cries his eyes out. The ways he is embarrassed is pretty dramatic but he gets through it all.
