The book Danny the Champion of the World  By: Roald Dahl is about a little boy named Danny, it was Danny's birthday and he was turning 5,  and he had to start school. Danny always worked in the shop with his dad. Danny's dad told him story's before bed and sometimes he talked about BFG (big friendly giant).  Danny liked to fly his kite with his dad and make fire balloons, launch them into the air, and try to find them when they land. Danny got a little car for his birthday and he rode it around. Danny had just turned 9, when Danny fell asleep, he woke up a few hours later and his dad was not there, he searched every where but he was not there. Danny heard something coming down the street, it was his father, his father had to explain what he was doing to Danny, and he said he was poaching. Danny didn't know how to do that so his dad explained some ways to do it. Danny's dad left to poach again but this time Danny knew, Danny's dad got stuck in a hole and and 9 year old Danny had to drive 6 miles to get him out, when Danny got there Danny's dad was sure he had broken his ankle. That was the first 1/3 of my book I'm reading.
