In the 2nd part of my novel, Danny the Champion of the World, Danny's dad fell into a hole and Danny had to go to the car and grab a robe for his dad to climb to get out of the hole. Danny's dad got out of the hole, and Danny had to help his dad walk home from poaching. when they got home Danny helped his dad get into a blanket and call the doctor to come and look at Danny's dad's leg because Danny's dad thinks it is broken. The doctor said it was broken so he put a metal cast on it and give him sleep medicine, everyday Danny and his dad walked to school together, when Danny's dad got a little bit better Danny talked to him about a plan he came up with for pouching. Danny said, "We should get raisins and put the sleeping medicine that you got from the doctor inside them, so the hens and pheasnts will fall asleep faster and fall out of the trees!" After those words danny's dad said, "Lets do that!" So a couple days later danny and his dad made the raisins, left them over night in water to soften, and that night they went out poaching again. When they got there they sprinkled the raisins all around and at night they went out to see if the pills would make them fall out of the tree's. That night the hens and peasnts fell out of the trees and Danny and his dad got 120 pheasnts and hens.
