The StormBreaker was written by Anthony Horowitz. Alex is a normal kid, he lives a normal life and his dad is a bank manager. Sorta.... Until his dad gets killed in a car crash. At the funeral, men wearing black showed up and prayed for Alex's dad and then left, but then Alex saw something he couldn't beleave, one of the men's coat's fell off and there on the man's back was a gun.After he follows the men into a junkyard is it that Alex wants to figure out the real truth, about his father. What lies ahead of Alex is far more bigger than he expected, about his family, his dad, and him.

I am reading The Merchant of Death and it is about a boy who's life has gone from normal to almost mythological.
