The book i read was Travel Team By Mike Lupica. The main character, Danny Walker, is responsible, caring, smart, funny and very involved in basketball. Danny is 12 years old, he is short and skinny with brown eyes and hair. His personality includes, caring, being a good friend, and a heart for basketball. His friends are Tess, Ty, Will, Matt, Darryl, and many more.His main problem is that he tried out forthe travel team, but he didnt make it. How his personality affects the plot, is, he is brave about the situation, and helpful and smart whe it comes to problems. Danny has other problems such as his shoulder being hurt, being to short for the travel team, Mr.Ross, Tess, and constant fighting with Teddy Moran. Danny's team goes on to win the basketball tournament, even though his team lost most of their games in throughout the season.

Since you gave good detail on the character in Travel Team it helped me to picture what Danny Walker looks like and his characteristics. In your book what was the name of the team Danny Walker played for? Also how did Danny Walker hurt his shoulder?

This sounds like a good book! The main character in my book, Paper Towns, is very similar in looks, but he has a very different personality. The boy in my book, is very stubborn and not caring, compared to the boy in your book who you described as caring and being a good friend.

That sounds like a great book. I would recomend the book that I read, Rush for The Gold, It is a
mystery at the olympics. I think you would enjoy the book.
