The book Game On by Melanie Spring is about a high school cheer squad.  On the squad there is a girl who's name is Chloe,on their squads first day of practice there is a new girl who has only done gymnastics, her name is Devin.  Chloe gets jealous because Devin is better at gymnastics than her.  When the girls vote for captain the vote comes out that Chloe and Devin are co-captains, this made Chloe even madder than she was before.  One day before practice they both showed up early and got in an argument about the routine while all the other girls were walking in ,the team members saw the whole argument.  That is what the first part of the book Game On by Melanie Spring is about.
