The Hunger Games is an interesting book, it's by Suzanne Collins. The main character is Katniss Everdeen she volunteered for her sister Primrose Everdeen. Their is 1 girl and 1 boys to go into the games the boy was Peeta Mellark. After the people got picked Katniss and Peeta both got to say goodbye to their family. Katniss and Peeta head to the capital to met the other contributes from district 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 they are district 12. When they get to the capital they have to train. They have to practice surviving and getting to people who you can trust and who you can't.
