In the book Isabelle by Laurence Yep, a girl Isabelle, loves ballet dancing. Her old dance academy was easy enough for her. Her new dance academy is Anna Hart. She goes there with jade, her older sister. There at the academy, Renata always called her "dizzy izzy"  Renata is a rude girl that always picks on Isabelle because she always messes up. Later on, Isabelle,her mother, and Jade all go to the flea market to look for parts to their costumes, and to see their dads band perform.  Jades performance theme is gypsy, Then Isabelle is designing her own costume how she wants for her performance.  Then they must hurry because their dads band is performing now and they don't want to miss it. A few songs in  dad makes mom shed tears of joy because he wrote a song for her. Isabelle and jade couldn't help themselves so they started dancing. Back a the academy, Isabelle costume is finished and now time to practice in her costume. She made a long sash  and started dancing. She tripped over it and ran away in embarrassment. She solved her problem by scrunching up her sash until it looked looked flowers. She did better now that she had nothing to trip on.
