Joseph Lemasolai Lekuton is a very unique boy who has many responsibilities.
at the age of 6 he went to school when you had to be 8 to go to school. In chapter 5
Joseph faces a bully named Addison. Addison took the shoes that Joseph had received as a prize. Joseph told mama (the American headmistress) and got the shoes back. On the last day Addison took the shoes again. Addison said,"you know what Joseph, I'm ready for a fight one o' clock down by the river"after he defeated Addison he didn't get bullied anymore . when Joseph was supposed to be taking the cows to graze he played with his friends. there was a saying in his country which was on the 41st day of trouble you would get caught. when that day came Joseph went to get his cattle from under the tree they weren't there so he hid in a tree to avoid punishment. After all he wasn't punished and found the cattle.
