Eragon was hunting and found a dragon egg, and he brought it home. Him and his dad tried sell it to merchants but no one would buy. The dragon egg hatched and Eragon fed it and made a house for it. The dragon grew and Eragon became a rider after his friend, Brom, met the dragon and gave Eragon a rider's sword. Eragon and brom went through a village that was abandoned, and monsters attacked. Then, Eragon, Brom, and Saphire went through a desert and made it through after a giant storm, that was so big, Saphire couldent fly.
