Coach Martin wants Marley to join the track team because he saw Marley running around town and thinks Marley is fast. The Gorn like to chase Marley around town as a hobby even though Marley is a faster runner. Digger starts having Marley do his social studies homework for him even though Marley does not want to. Marley is going to where a trash bag gown in the Home Sciences then gets to nervous and bales.  Next Marley is at the Tiggy Tiger Turkey Trot but not to race he sees the Gorn and starts to run with the runners to get away, Marley wins the race and gets a big trophy. Marley gets into a fight with Digger and then they become not enemys but not friends.
