So far in the book Nikki has had her hands full with her band. Nikki and her band were asked to go play at the Swanky Hill Ski resort.But when Brandon tells her the bad news that he didn't get a scholar ship for the writing about Nikki they get into a big argument about Brandon not coming to the listening party so he could start  on another paper for the scholar ship. Nikki felt bad for yelling at him but  to much was going on  to worry about that. Nikki and her family were getting ready for the ski resort when her mom pulled out these ugly neon yellow ski outfits with heats all over it her mom made. Nikki was to embarrassed to go out in public with that on but she had to. When they got to the resort  every body couldn't wait to go ski but Nikki didn't know how so she had to start on the bunny hil.Then Nikki saw Mackenzie and she was really good. So Nikki ditched the bunny hill and went to the highest hill and saw Brandon taking pictures, Nikki went down the hill hitting every rock. Brandon had the idea to do a story about  Nikki skiing for the scholar ship. soon the listening party came to take place and when they opened the box of CDs their were none in the box. Nikki came up with the idea to do a kissing booth with your favorite band member. When all the people were gone Nikki saw Brandon in line for Nikki at the kissing booth and they kissed shocking all the band members.  Brandon pictures of Nikki skiing and he got the scholarship.The End
