In continuation of the book Much Ado About Anne, Jess, Cassidy, Megan, and Emma have to go on a school field trip to Walden pond with the rest of their grade. At the pond, the girl's are involved in a canoeing catastrophe, which brings them and Becca's group of friends closer together. When these new friends find out that Jess's family may have to sell their farm, the girls' try to hatch up a plan to save it. Will the girl's earn enough money to save the farm, or will it be turned into condominiums?
