In the book, Oblivion, Holly and Jamie had to get on a boat escape from their burning town, the traveler had helped, getting them a boat and such. The traveler, Holly, and Jamie traveled through the water to try to find another town, one where Jamie could hide from the people who were hunting him, The Old Ones. They wanted to kill him because he was part of The Five, a force that hunted The Old Ones. The Old Ones were an evil force, they wanted to destroy everyone who wasn't apart of them, including The Five. The Five had destroyed The Old Ones once already, now they were back and more evil than ever. Jamie had looked for the friends of his, that were also part of The Five: Matt, Scarlet, Pedro, and Scott. Matt was Jamie's twin brother, who had not seen him for a long time. Scarlet was the healer, Pedro was the only one who didn't speak English, he spoke Spanish. Scott, he was the boy in The Five that wasn't as popular as the rest, he wasn't very well known. With them apart, they weren't very strong, but with all their powers combined, they were practically unstoppable! They tried their best to defeat The Old Ones, but they didn't succeed. The Old Ones may have won the battle, but they haven't even started the war.
