n the book If I Stay by Gayle Forman, the main characters name is Mia and she lives in Oregon. She woke up one morning and found out that she was going to have a snow day. Her mom, dad, and brother decided that they were going to            visit a friend. They got in the car ad were arguing about what kind of music to listen to. Mia wanted her favorite classical. She fell asleep in the car and this is where the problem comes into play. She woke up to being thrown out of the car. This is the problem because Mia is in a coma. She can’t seem to figure out to stay alive or no to. Mia can see herself getting operated on and can see what is going on in the ICU. She is having such a difficulty because her dad, mother, and brother where killed in the crash. She wants to live her life but she also wants to be with her family. I think this problem will be solved by Mia realizing that she should live her life.Also seeing that her parents and brother will be waiting for her when it’s time for her life to end.
