Later on the ship is going into the SIRENS range three beautiful but dangerous mermaids that can charm people with there music and when you get close to one you are never scene again. Anabeth said  "legend says that if you live when you listen to there music you become wiser" Anabeth almost died but Percy and Anabeth managed to escape and continued on to the cyclops cave.
