In the novel Joey Pigza swallowed the key by Jack Gantos. It about a boy named Joey who has problems and had to take his meds every morning so he can calm down and listen. In the beginning of the book Joey was in school and they were doing math drills and he raised his hand up every time because he is good at math facts.  Every time Mrs. Maxy called on him he said, "can I get Back to you on that." so then Mrs. Maxy brought him out in the hall and told him to settle down and then she left.  Then he got his miny super ball out of his pocket and started bouncing it on the lockers. Then Mrs. Deebs yelled cut the racket, so he unbuckled his belt and pulled it really hard and started spinning and was hitting the lockers, then Mrs. Maxy came out and told him to settle down or you will go to the principal but he didn't and he spun all the way to the principal office.
