The Frank's moved into hiding with the Van Dans', the Van Dans' were also Jewish. Their secret hiding place was called The Secret Annex. Anne got bored often and sometimes her diary was the only thing left to do. The two families had people who would gather food for them. They had to get as much food as possible, because they didn't know when they could get food again. Sometimes the people who gathered food would get captured by the Nazis.
