The Van Daan's son Peter misses his girlfriend, so Anne tries to cheer him up. Most evenings they sit and just talk for hours alone. Then Anne decides she likes Peter, but theres a problem: Anne's older sister Margaret likes Peter to. They write letters back and forth about Peter 'and in the end Peter picks Anne. Anne tells her diary, Kitty, about war how the Nazis are taking more people to the concentration camp.Tuesday, August 1, 1944 was Anne's last diary entry soon after both the Frank's and the Van Daan's were discovered and brought  to the camps.
