Community Sing-A-Long for the Family Reading Partnership Bookfest!!!
This year the Family Reading Partnership of Tompkins County will host a sing-a-long of Bill Withers' Lean on Me. Information for book fest is below as well as a video with lyrics that you can access to practice. We will be practicing at school during music time as well!
Did you know that Newfield's Music Department was recognized by the NAMM Foundation as a "Best Communities for Music Education" in 2009 and 2013?
The Elementary School was named to the "Best Communities" list in 2010. Newfield Elementary was the only school to receive the award in New York State in 2010, and one of only five elementary schools chosen nationwide to receive the honor.
