·         Greetings & Songs & Pledge

·         Calendar &  “Our Day” Schedule (Monday – new classroom jobs)

·         What’s the Weather? – Weather and Cloud Graphs

·           Rhyming words and patterns, Letter Jingle with signing

·         Quick break – Movement & Music

·         Monday- Introduce new letter with Letter Person & story

·         Read aloud or Shared reading

·         Friday- Create a list of words that begin with our new letter

·         News time - Kids news (“Treasure Suitcase” sharing)

10:00-10:50  Theme/Letter Activities

                         (Letter Crafts, Literature Responses)

·         Monday – Make Letter People Puppet

·         Friday – Journal Response

10:55-11:30  Lunch in Cafeteria

11:30-12:00 Recess (Outdoor Play, Nature Walk, Gym)

12:30-1:00 Rest

1:45-2:00    Circle Sharing/Preparation forDismissal (backpacks, jackets, folders)

2:00 Dismissal - Parents sign-out their children at the Pre-K entrance
