Odessa-Montour Library Statement: 

 The mission of the Odessa-Montour Middle/High School library is to prepare students to effectivelyand efficiantly access, evaluate, and ethically use information to become self-directed learners; to promote reading and encourage curiousity; and to prepare students for a continually changing technological  world.

Vision Statement:
The Odessa-Montour Middle/High School Library will:

  • Provide full class and individualized instruction and assistance on search strategies, evaluation of sources, and citations using a variety of available library resources.
  • Promote reading through special activities and programs (i.e., Teen Read Week activities, Summer Reading programs, Book Clubs, etc.).
  • Provide full class and individualized instruction on computer use including internet, and use of variety of computer programs.
