BA/BCA:
Business Analysis offers students a broad overview of modern business organization and operation. Students will learn that today’s business organizations rely on a variety of systems and subsystems to carry out their transactions as they adapt to the emerging Information Age. These systems and subsystems must be designed to accommodate the information, product, or service the business provides. Further, students will learn that most business organizations are dependent upon the ability to make a profit by meeting a societal need, requiring them, therefore, to be organized to handle their particular types of business transactions most efficiently.

Business Computer Applications provides students with a hands-on opportunity to explore some of the modern computer software tools used by business. Each of the various subsystems of a modern business operating system, as explored in Business Analysis, may depend heavily on computer hardware and software to meet its information needs. Technological advances have forced a coming together; a growing interrelationship and networking that enhances and accelerates communication and operations.
