The Building Planning Team is our
shared decision making body that is
set up under the Commissioner's
Regulation 100.11. This team focuses
on school improvement based on
student achievement and instruction.
It it made up of teachers, the building
administrator, instructional; support
staff and parents, As we look at data
to make sure we are meeting the needs
of our student body, each representative
has a valid perspective for new ideas or
problem solving strategies that we
examine. Their constituency elects
representatives to the BPT. The BPT
is seen as the leadership team. Shared
decision is time consuming but the end
results area shared initiative with
increased probability for success.
