Today i am going to be starting a project in a 5th grade Math class. We are going to be using a website called VOICETHREAD.com. I made an account for each student and they each have a password that I set for them. Today i'll be working with a small group 7th period and then a small group from 8th period. Their teacher has selected topics for them. The students will log into voicethread and make a "voicethread". They will upload their document from the shared drive. Then they will choose an avatar to represent themselves. They will then comment on their topic, make a problem, and explain it. During this process, they can doodle as they speak, so that they are explaining the project. They will then save the link in the shared drive so that we can post it on the teachers website.
