My novel Death Sentence, by Alexander Gordon Smith is about how this boy Alex was accused of killing Zeke. For doing so he was punished with gas, but the people who punished him ended being the Black Suits. The warden controlled the Black Suits he tried to help Alex, Alex was partly blind but with the power of the warden gave Alex his sight. Well he gave him most of his sight. Alex was strapped to a laying down bed, that was the only thing the warden could not help him with. The warden was trying to give Alex his power, so he could get out of furnace, furnace is below hell. But the powers the wording was giving Alex, Alex thought the warden was trying to lower his defenses so the warden had a vulnerable spot to hurt Alex.
