In the 2nd part of the novel Girls Best Friend . Maggie's old best friend whose named Ivy her  dog got dog napped. Ivy need $100 to get her dog  Kermit back  so she took $100 from Maggie when Ivy was at her house for Maggie's brothers birthday. Maggie caught her stealing the money Ivy explained what had happen. As soon as Maggie heard what happen she wanted to help really bad even though Ivy and her weren't friends  any more . When Ivy taped the money to the bench Maggie and Ivy tired to catch the dog napper but missed the dognapper and they did not return Kermit so Ivy and Maggie try to find the person who dognapped Kermit.
