I reviewed Evil Star by Anthony Horrowitz Matthew Freeman thought that his troubles were over when he shut the Ravens gate but he was horribly wrong this was in fact just the beginning the evil forces were at work to open the second gate and destroy Matt. During the book matt learns that his fate is tied to four other children around the globe. He finds out that theres another gate in Lima, Peru, so he travels there to try and stop the evil forces trying to open the gate. When hes there he finds another one of the Five who helps him shut the gate. When Matt arrives at Lima his best friend/guardian was kidnapped by salamanda one of the people who's trying to open the gate. So he is locked in a struggle against evil forces trying to open the gate and unleash themselves.

Matt is this the second book in a series, if so the first book sounds very interesting and I might try it. If you like adventurous fantasy books I think you might like Clive Cussler books.
