The main character in Million Dollar Throw is Nate. Nate is 14 years old and he lives in Boston in 2007. Nate also plays for a football team at this time and he plays quarterback. Nate changes the story in the book when he gets the autographed signed football from Tom Brady. When a person gets this football they got to throw a football thirty yards away in a twenty inch hole at halftime of the Thanksgiving Game. If you got the ball through the hole get $1,000,000. This will change him because his family just lost their house and his dad just lost his job. So, if he gets the football through the hole he can get his house back and he will have a lot of money to help his family.
