Using Movie Maker for Animation
Students will experiment with their originality & creativity when designing their very own animation skit.  First, students will think of an idea or plot to expand their story on.  Afterwards, students will design a storyboard that illustrates frame by frame their animation skit.
Once completed, the students will now have to implement their storyboard.  First, students will design a backdrop for their stage.  Afterwards, students will use household items (figurines, matchbox cars) to play the role of their characters.  After each storyboard box is designed, the students will take a picture of the frame.  Remember that in order for your skit to look realistic, you must have each frame  show the slightest form of movement.  Furthermore, each skit should consist of at least twenty slides.  After creating the story, students will use Movie Maker to put their still pictures into motion.  Students will add at least one effect to their animation to attract attention to their production.
