GINGERBREAD MAN LEADS CHILDREN ON WILD CRUMB CHASE

Mrs. Olmstead's Kindergarten classroom was unexpectedly interrupted one day while reading the story of the Gingerbread Man.  Mrs. Olmstead, teacher said, "I was reading a story to the children, when a loud noise startled us." Upon investigation, the students found a taunting note that said the Gingerbread Man was lurking about.  The note further explained that "You can't catch me--I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

The students immediately began searching the school and interviewing staff members.  Crumbs left behind by the elusive Gingerbread Man and eyewitness testimonials of incredibly rude behavior were the only evidence the class in room 4 was able to collect.

Justice prevailed in the end, and the students' hard work was rewarded.  the children of Kindergarted classroom 4 feasted on gingerbread cookies left behind...could it be a clue from the crafty G-Man?  Mrs. Olmstead used the opportunity to graph the cookie part they bit off first; arm, leg, or head.  the whole event was brought to a close by the waving of the Gingerbread Man puppets in a celebratory fashion by all!
