Bottle  Rocket

Equipment Needed:
12 oz water bottle, empty
6 oz Vinegar
1 1/2 TBS Baking soda
Cork that fits tightly in the bottle mouth
3 craft sticks or pencils
Masking or duct tape
  1.  Use an empty 12 oz water bottle; remove cap
  2.  Wear safety goggles
  3. Tape 3 craft sticks or pencils  around the mouth of the bottle to create a stand
  4.  Measure 6 oz. of vinegar and pour it into the bottle.
  5. Use an absorbant paper towel.
  6.  Place  1 1/2 tablespoons of baking soda along the long edge of the towel
  7. Tightly roll the towel, folding in the short edge as you go. 
  8.  Place the towel with baking soda in the opening of the bottle
  9. Place the cork in the mouth of the bottle
  10. Tip the bottle upside down resting it on its stand. Run!
