Our Goal:
I strive to work together with parents and students- to ensure that each student achieves his/her fullest potential.
In order for that to happen for every student, I understand the importance of an orderly, respectful, and structured classroom.
My management plan relies on communication. I mark student planners every day. I expect that parents read and sign student planners every day.
The marks in the student planner communicate behavior in a quick, efficient way.
1. Green star= ready to learn
2. Blue star= extra special behavior
3. Yellow dot= several warnings to make better choices
about behavior or work (including NO Homework turned in)
4. Red dot=bad choices made and not corrected throughout the day (accompanied by a note from teacher), usually results in time spent in the planning room.
