Hi, my name is Mrs. Judy Sell.  I have been the librarian at Ridge Road since 1998.  Before coming to Ridge Road, I was the librarian at an elementary school in Elmira and in Williamstown, West Virginia.  

Currently, I am the librarian at both Ridge Road and Big Flats Elementary.  The days are very full with seeing all of the classes (K-4) in both schools as well as keeping the libraries running smoothly.

I have a B.A. in English from the University of Delaware with a secondary teaching certification.  I received my Masters of Science in Library Science from Villanova University.  My New York State certification is as a Library Media Specialist (K-12). 

All of my four children were educated in the Horseheads School District.  Now, they have graduated from college and are enjoying successful careers as a civil engineer, a chemical engineer, a photojournalist, and a doctor.  Where does the time go?

Clementine is my 8 year old golden retriever.  Besides walking my dog, my other interests are gardening, sewing, traveling, dancing, and READING (especially to my (almost) 7 grandchildren!)
