The information below is for 7th and 8th graders only.

Music has arrived and rehearsals have begun. If you missed our first rehearsal (January 23) don't worry, but please be sure to join us next Thursday, January 30 @ 7:20 AM! Set your alarms!!!

Festival Information

Dates: Friday, March 7^th and Saturday, March 8th. (Please remember that students must attend the entire festival. No one will be allowed to come late or leave early)

Location: Hornell

Meals: Dinner Friday will be provided. Menu TBA. Lunch Saturday will be provided. Menu TBA. Additional beverages and snacks maybe available for purchase.

Clothes: Students should wear comfortable clothing for rehearsals on Friday and Saturday morning. Concert dress should be brought to the festival on Saturday. Time will be provided to change. Ladies must wear a black skirt or slacks and a white shirt (no miniskirts or floor length skirts/dresses). Gentlemen must wear black dress pants, white (or light colored) shirt, and tie (no jeans, tee-shirts or sneakers).

Friday Departure: The bus will leave Northside @ TBA. Students are responsible for turning in assignments and getting homework for the classes they will miss ahead of time. We will meet in the _____________ to take attendance and wait for the bus.

7^th Graders: You will need to eat before your normal lunch period. Specifics will be announced later.
8^th Grade: You are dismissed from ____ period at XX:XX.

Friday Night Return: Parents will pick students up from Northside @ TBA

Saturday Morning Departure: The bus will leave Northside @ TBA to travel to Hornell for morning rehearsals.

Saturday Concert: The concert begins at 3:00 in the Hornell Auditorium. Tickets are $___ for adults and children. If you would like to purchase tickets in advance bring money or a check (made out to SCMTA) on Friday. There will be no bus going home after the concert. Plan to text Mrs. Bryson upon arrival at the concert to sign out your son/daughter.

The deadline for turning in your order form and money for SCMTA shirts is Monday, February 9th. Make checks payable to SCMTA. We are not able to accept late order so please get your order in ASAP! You can download an order form from my resources page; look the documents folder.
