Here's a bit of information you may find useful for 6th grade.

ELA homework is to read at least 30 minutes every night.  This is extremely important to help build comprehension, fluency, and self-confidence. 
 

Math homework is assigned at least three times a week.  Usually students are able to get started on their work during class so that I am sure they will not struggle at home.  Their notebook is an essential tool during homework times, as ALL of the step-by-step instructions are located there.  Below are great websites that students can use to help with their math skills--multiplication facts and much, much more!
