A message from the Winfield Building Leadership Team:
Did you know about the Winfield Scholar-Roo Attendance Tags?
Winfield attendance is monitored daily with the classroom teachers daily record of attendance. Additionally, it is monitored every two weeks at Winfield by the principal and school social worker. Attendance letters are generated from our “School Tools” student data system when absences accumulate beyond three. (See the WN Attendance Procedures and Attendance Tips on our school website for additional information)
At the end of each marking period, the principal hands out “Attendance Tags” to those students who have maintained “Outstanding Attendance” for that marking period.
What is Outstanding Attendance? Students who have zero days absent and less than three days tardy for the marking period.
We look forward to awarding attendance tags each term.
