Important Update!
 
At this year's SLC, held in Rochester from April 21st to 23rd, Thomas Peer campaigned for the office of State Vice President for District 11 and was elected to the office.  With this he becomes the student leader of our district which encompasses all of Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben Counties.  He also becomes part of the State Officer Team, and as such will take part in an officer training retreat in July.  He will take part in the planning of the coming year's theme and program of work, the essence of FBLA.

FBLA is a national organization devoted to preparing students for the world of business, either as employees or as entrepreneurs.  It involves competitions on the district, state, and national level.  Students participate in fund- raisers in order to attend the Spring Conference which is a three day event currently held in Rochester, NY.  Students use the skills and knowledge from their classes and extra training during meetings to compete against students around the state.  This year's Leadership Conference information is below:
