Dear Parents,
Next week is our only full week of school for the rest of November. We will continue working on our family theme, as well as some fun Thanksgiving projects. The family tree pattern I told you about is included with this newsletter. Please spend some time working on it with your child this weekend, so that they can bring them in to share next week. You don’t need to go back any farther than your child’s grandparents (unless you choose to). If you are able to include photographs, it will be easier for your child to share his/her project with the class without adult assistance. Thank you in advance for your help.
Reminders
· Parent/Teacher conferences tomorrow. I look forward to meeting with you.
· Thanksgiving Feast for grades pk-3 will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The pre-k class is being asked to provide finger food desserts for the event. (brownies, cookies etc)
· Blankets are coming home today. Please wash them and send them back on Monday.
· I’ve been told that next week promises to be a cold one. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately as we will try to get outside (unless the weather is nasty).
· Last call for book orders- please send your order in by Monday. If you’d like to keep it a secret from your child, let me know.
