Sketchbooks!

Welcome to my sketchbook page.  Sketchbooks are often called developmental notebooks.  They are a way for the students to assess their own progress in any of my middle and high school art courses.  Sketchbooks are pivotal in the learning process as it enables students to got down their thoughts and ideas as they begin the creative process.  I also use it as a grading device and an organizational skill.  Students are expected to collage in any grades or assignments that I have given to them through out the year into these sketchbooks. This helps myself as well as students to be able to keep track of their grades and their developmental process and improvement throughout the year.
