I am so excited that you are part of my class this year. I would like to introduce myself; I am Valerie Callahan. I have a wonderful husband Garret, a daughter Mikayla (11^th grader at Corning Painted Post High School) and a son, Austin (a 9^th grader at Corning Painted Post High School).  We also have two dogs – Carolina and Keira. My family is involved in variety activities and we love sports and being outside. I have a BA degree in Early and Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for sixteen years all in the Corning-Painted Post School District.  I have taught Kindergarten, 1^st, 4^th, and 5^th but 5^th grade is my passion.
