It is important to me that you know what is going on in class, and what expectations your child will be held to throughout the year; your signature simply ensures that you have been made aware of these expectations.

Class Procedures/Grades are as follows:
Classwork–20% of the grade per marking period. All classworkk will be completed in class and kept and maintained in a three ring binder. Students will use theirclass time to complete assignments designed to reinforce the Algebra class curriculum.
Homework – 20% of the grade per marking period. Homework is typically assigned Monday through Thursday. Assignments will be corrected in class and kept and maintained in a three ring binder in order to prepare for class exams and the Algebra Regents Exam. Students that are absent may get their missing homework assignments from my room when they come back to class.
Quizzes/Tests – 60% of the grade per marking period. All tests will be announced, allowing time for review.
Items needed daily: Three ring binder, pencil holder (clips into binder), dividers, pencil, paper, and a scientific calculator.
**A TI-83 plus or TI-84 calculator is not required but is very helpful**
Please cut off and return with a Parent’s or Guardian’s Signature for a 100% homework score.
